Proposed treinvakantie programme: |
Day 1, Saturday:
Arrival in Sint Petersburg. In evening leave voor Petrozavodsk using trein
tickets provided by us. Overnacht op de trein. Sint Petersburg you will
visit at the end van this journey.
Day 2, Sunday: Arrive in Petrozavodsk in morning. At the toerist
Information centrum pick up uw information package which includes route
descriptions, recommendations en boat tickets. At the harbour, board a
boat naar Kizhi eiland voor a walking excursie there. Return naar
Petrozavodsk; visit musea en walk door the stad as you wish.
Depart voor Kem at nacht. Overnacht op de trein.
Day 3, Monday: Arrive in Kem before noon. If you like, you can
explore the town first, or leave immediately voor uw hotel by taxi; the
hotel is located 20 km away, op de seashore. At the hotel get ferry
tickets naar de Solovetsky eilanden. Overnacht at the hotel.
Day 4, Tuesday: Leave voor Solovetsky eilanden in de morning (the
harbour is close naar de hotel). op Solovetsky you can explore the
klooster en its lands. Return naar uw hotel in de evening en take
a taxi naar de trein station. Depart voor Moermansk op late trein.
Overnacht op de trein.
Day 5, Wednesday: Arrive in Moermansk; hotel check-in. At the
reception desk pick up an information package. We suggest you visit the
regioal Historical Museum, the Art Museum en the Folk Art centrum.
Dinner in a recommended restaurant, which has an Excellente en
inexpensive menu en fine music. Overnacht at the hotel.
Day 6, Thursday: There are a number van interesting places naar
visit that are related naar de sea en maritime cultuur. These include
the Naval Museum, the Museum van het Pool Research Institute van Marine
visseries en Oceanography (not open naar de general public but a visit
can be arranged voor you), en the Oceanarium (tickets can be reserved

Day 7, Friday: Start a journey by bus door the Kola Schiereiland.
Arrive in Monchegorsk before noon; check-in at hotel. Places naar visit in
Monchegorsk include the langste Orthodox kathedraal op het Kola Schiereiland
en the mineralogische museum. You may also take a short yacht-trip
around Imandra Lake met its multitude van eilanden. voor dinner there is
an Excellente small restaurant close naar de hotel. Overnacht at the
hotel.
Day 8, Saturday: Continue by bus naar Kirovsk in de Khibiny
bergen; hotel check-in. The town has an interesting Museum van
History. The Bowling centrum serves good meals. Overnacht at the hotel.
Day 9, Sunday: met tickets reserved by us, you can visit the
Botanische tuin located close naar Kirovsk (take a taxi van de hotel).
Bus naar Apatity 15 km away. Visits can be made naar de Museum van het
European Noord van Rusland, en naar de shop "Salma" which sells jewellery,
en stone carvings en other folk art. in de evening continue south by
bus naar Kandalaksha; upon arrival check-in at hotel. Overnacht at the
hotel.
Day 10, Monday: You may walk around the old quarter van
Kandalaksha, en up naar a high point op de shore van het Witte Zee. Seals
en even beluga whales can be spotted in de sea. The Museum van het
Kandalaksha Reserve is worth a visit; there is a great view van a
plateau in

check-in. At the reception desk, pick up a package containing tickets
