Monche toendra is part van het Laplandsky Nature
Reserve. This territory was allocated
voor the major purpose; preservation en restoration van a
livestock van wild rendieren op het Kola Schiereiland.
Monche toendra has many highlights
old virgin pine en spruce forests (400-500 years), a
valley where nature is like Japan banzai gardens, the
beautiful waterfall Ebr-chorr is falling into a stone cup
op de palms van Lapland en in de ravines are nests van
the rare Nordic bird, the 'gyrfalcon' having its
territory in de fells.
Experience this all tijdens a four
days wandeltocht in Monche toendra. Before en after the
toer you will stay in a good hotel in Monchegorsk.

wandeltocht dag by day: |
Day 1, Sunday: Arrive in
Monchegorsk. Hotel check-in upon arrival. Guide will come naar de hotel
in de evening naar ontmoet you en check equipment. Dinner in a
restaurant. Overnacht at the hotel.
Day 2, Monday: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer naar start
point in berg. van there hike naar de pass door the mass-berg
van het Monche toendra ridge. van a top van het pass proceed down op a
path naar de west slopes van Monche toendra en the Vite rivier’s valley en
make camp. Distance van hike: 8 km.
Day 3, Tuesday: Hike along the west bank van het Seidjavr Lake
door the virgin pine en spruce forests which age is 400-500 years
old. If we are lucky we can see elks, bears, fox or rendieren. It’s
possible naar vis in de rivieren. Cross the Vite rivier en proceed naar de
Seidjavr Lake. Make camp. Distance van hike: 4 km.
Day 4, Wednesday: Leave rugzaks in camp en walk light naar de
Pingkyauranch Lake. The nature there is like Japan banzai gardens where
berg en forest landscape are shown in miniature. There are really
special trees op a bank van het lake whose water has unusual light-green
colour. Proceed the beautiful rivier delta. Distance van hike: 15 km.
Day 5, Thursday: Hike naar de valley Lemkorr
en climb up naar de second high peak op het Kola Schiereiland
- 1114 boven the sea level. van de very top a
breathtaking view opens naar blue forests met pearls van lakes en shining
fillets van rivieren: all fairy-tale Lapland is op uw palm!
Distance van hike: 12 km.
Day 6, Friday: Cross the Vite rivier en proceed up naar de
berg ridge van Monche toendra. Stop naar look round the waterfall
Devichyi Kosi (Girl’s plaits). Continue the route naar de beginning van a
tectonic cleft, where sneeuw is kept until the end van zomer, en walk
down naar de foot van Monche toendra. van there transfer naar Monchegorsk. Dinner
en overnacht at the hotel.
Day 7,
Saturday: Breakfast at the hotel. Departure.
