Marathon length: 50 km in free style langlaufing.
Date: 6th van April 2008. Start at 11:00 o'clock. The control post at the finish line closes 6 hours after the start.
Place: Dolina Uhyuta; Moermansk sport valley
Necessary documents voor registration: Passport, bank transfer note, registration form met signed statement that you are participation voor own risk en consequences.

History Moermansk Ski Marathon |
The Festival van het noorden (Prazdnik Severa) itself was first held in 1934 en the
first Moermansk Ski Marathon took place op March 31, 1974. in de first 14 years van existence the distance van het
marathon varied van 52 naar 60 km but in 1988 it was reduced naar 50 km en it has not changed since. Women
started participating in de marathon in 1986. |
In 1999 the Moermansk Ski Marathon joined EUROLOPPET, the European long-distance popular ski race series. The Moermansk Ski Marathon is stage voor the Rusland Ski Marathon Cup RUSSIALOPPET. |

Moermansk Ski Marathon is usually held op a first
Sunday in April in Moermansk en is part van het
traditional Festival van het noorden (Prazdnik Severa). The
Festival van het noorden is an annual sports event in about
20 winter sports that takes place in de towns van het
Moermansk regio in March en April.

|
Day 1, 4th van April, Friday: dag van arrival naar Moermansk airport. Transfer by a taxi naar a hotel. Overnacht at the hotel.
Day 2, 5th van April, Saturday: voor treining you can use langlauf tracks close naar de stad. The same dag a rendier racing
competition starts as well as ice swimming competition op Semyenovskoe Lake. Overnacht at the hotel.

Day 3, 6th van April, Sunday: At 11:00 o’clock the ski Marathon starts. The same dag Lappish Games are op
the same sport spot. in de evening – a festive rewarding ceremony van winners van het Marathon
op de central square.
Overnacht at the hotel.
Day 4, 7th van April, Monday: Departure by a taxi naar Moermansk airport.
