Khibiny toendra met bagage transport
|
Winter is a fascinating time van year op de Kola
Peninsula. met sneeuw blanketing silent bergen, en
Noorderlicht spiralling in de polar nacht sky. The
toendra seems like a fairy-tale world. A true Noorder
winter reigns up here, beyond the arctische Circle,
beckoning met its beauty en promise van Avontuur.
After an introduction about Kola Schiereiland in Werelds
grootste stad boven the polar cirkel Moermansk, uw
langlauf-tour will start van de shore van
Imandra Lake. You will ski between en over eilanden
door open area en forests met beautiful views naar de
rounded Khibiny bergen in Russisch Lapland. The
overnachts will be in small cabins, berg guesthouse en
spa-hotel. A sneeuwscooter takes care about the bagage
transport en you will ski along the sneeuwscooter track.
The total length van het toer is about 140 km met the daily
ski distances between 20 en 40 km. Experience in
langlauf is necessary.

Day 1: Arrival in Moermansk airport. Transfer naar a hotel in Monchegorsk (140 km). Check-in, dinner in Rusland café
en overnacht in de hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. This dag we trein en try-out our
equipment in de surroundings van Monchegorsk close naar Khibiny toendra.
Lunch tijdens skiing day. Distance van skiing: 20 km (or more, if want).
in de afternoon we will have a Rusland shashlik party in de forest.
Overnacht in de hotel.
Day 3: Breakfast. Today we will ontmoet our sneeuwscooter guide whom
takes care voor bagage transport en we start our ski-tour met crossing Imandra Lake towards Khibiny toendra naar a small dorp named Imandra
Station. Overnacht in a country house in more person room. Distance van
skiing: 25 km.
Day 4: Breakfast. We continue beside the foot van het bergen
en change the lake area voor a beautiful forest landscape. After a
campfire lunch we will come in a valley which leads us naar de centrum van
Khibiny toendra. Dinner en overnacht in a small wildernis guesthouse
surrounded by bergen. Distance van skiing: 30 km.
Day 5: Breakfast at the hotel. First we ski naar eastwards naar have
a beautiful view op de forest valley en then we ski door the valley
naar de South. Campfire lunch tijdens toer. Dinner en overnacht in
Sanatorium Health hotel in twin room
met shower en toilet. The evening can be spent met the additional
services van het SPA; special showers, massage en other healthy en
medical services. Distance van skiing: 25 km.
Day 6: Breakfast. We continue our way westwards. Today will be
the summit van het ski-tour! We ski door valleys naar de famous Ramzai
Pass, a cleft met high steep walls. We will ski in de desolate white
world van sneeuw plateaus surrounded by the highest bergen van Khibiny
toendra. Campfire lunch tijdens way. Later we ski over the lake met lots
van eilanden op de foot van het bergen. We stay overnacht at the
toerist Base in Kislaya Bay in small wooden houses. Distance van skiing:
40 km.
Day 7: Breakfast. Transfer naar Moermansk en check-in at the
hotel. Lunch op uw own in de hotel. At 2 PM a guide
comes naar de hall van het hotel naar pick you up voor excursie in de stad
en a harbour. Visit naar de Naval Museum met its photographs, artefacts
en models van het noordenern Rusland Navy. In evening a skating
possibility in de Ice Palace. Dinner op uw own in de hotel.
Overnacht at the hotel.
Day 8: Breakfast. Transfer naar Moermansk airport by taxi.
