History van het Kola Schiereiland
The appearance van human beings op de territory van Kola Schiereiland can
related naar de VI Millennium B.C. Europeess that mastered bows and
spears were the first inhabitants van this land. The next wave van migrants (in
the beginning van het III millennium B.C.) has come van de land between the
Oka en the Wolga rivier ? those were the bearers van Neolithic ceramics. The langste
Europees collection van Neolithic Petroglyphes (this are figures carved on
stones), discovered in 1997 in de area van Kanozero Lake (system van het Umba
rivier) is dated van de II en III millennium B.C. Judging the amount and
subjects van these figures, the hunting was very successful en that in de course
of many centuries.
In the II ? I millennium B.C. the Finno-Ugric tributes came
to the Kola Schiereiland van de Noorder Ural en having merged met the former
population van Kola Schiereiland have formed a new nationality - proto-Lapps
(Voorouders van het modern Lapps). The Russisch jagers have reached shores van the
Witte Zee in de IX century A.D., en have stayed here, as they have found
an extremely attraktieve object van hunting walruses. Walrus tusks (or "the
vis tooth") were very much valued in Europa at that time. Later, the
number van objects van trade en export has considerably increased. The first
permanent Russisch settlements - Varzuga, Umba en Kandalaksha have appeared on
Tersky (southern) Kust van Kola Schiereiland in de XIV century.
Russisch pomor's (the inhabitants van White en Barents sea Kusts) have
created the distinctive cultuur, which is well preserved in remote dorpen of
the Tersky Kust until now.
Kola
dorp en the old capital van our land - the Pechenga klooster op Paz rivier have
played the special role in de reservation van Kola Schiereiland after Rusland in the
XVI - XIX centuries. The discovery van het incalculable underground mineral
resources in de beginning van het XVI - XIX century has resulted in the
aktieve assimilation van our Noorder land en the rise van majority van towns on
Kola Schiereiland. The harbour van Moermansk has played en still plays the great
role in de assimilation van boundless expanses van het arctische regio en in the
development van het noordenern Seaway.
