Simple ho(s)tels, wooden houses and/or
tents! |
In steden en settlements we use twin-bedded rooms in
ho(s)tels. We try naar do our best, but in some places they
not match up naar "International" standards; i.e. hot water
may be irregular, facilities may be shared etc.
The Accommodatie op remote places is mostly very
simple en without electristad; simple houses or tents.

Remote places without roads! |
As we deal met remote places van het Kola Schiereiland,
where are no roads, we use boats en rafts op rivieren en
lakes en off road vehicles such as all wheel drive vehicles
likes army-busses, quads, jeeps en special all terrain
vehicles op old forest roads made by local people en
geologen. Helicopters en light airplanes are also used in
some cases naar shorten the time van travelling. Only this way
you can reach the most beautiful en untouched areas. |

The Kola Schiereiland is situated in Noordwest Rusland

than 130,000 lakes en rivieren. The regio is covered by
toendra, forest-toendra en taiga (dense forest) en is
home naar a wide variety van flora: more than 650 species
are found here. Trees include three types van spruce, four
types van birch, as well as pine, rowan, en alder. The
Kola Schiereiland is also rich in fauna. Wildlife includes
rendier en elk, brown bear, wolf, fox, arctische fox,
ermine, en wolverine; birds include wild geese, duck,
ptarmigan, hazel-hen, grouse, eider en peregrine falcon.

All our toers are
full service, but that doesn't mean that you will be
bored. Depending op de kind van Ecologische vakantie we
provide you met all the necessary food voor uw staying.
To make you staying more Ecologisch you can cook op
campfires en use the "fruits" van het sea en the seizoen;
by early July mushrooms - orange-cap boletus en edible
boletus have sprouted en cloudberries, blueberries en
blackberries have ripened already in de forest. Berry
en mushroom picking is our national hobby. Enjoy the
nature!
