Snowmobile safari in Khibiny Mountains program description:

Day 1: Arrival in Murmansk airport. Meeting by taxi with a name plate. Drive to Murmansk and check-in at a hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to the complex of Snow Village close to Kirovsk city. Near the Snow Village there is a small reindeer fold with four reindeers. You can give food to reindeers, to touch them and make photos. Then you can go to the Snow Village house. It is a big construction made of snow with snow paintings and snow labyrinths. After watching it you can try yourself in snow carving. At 12.30 lunch in the Health Hotel Tirvas located near-by. At 14.00 we start a snowmobiling part. After changing clothes we get some lesson of snowmobiling. Then we drive an easy route via Khibiny mountains to the valley of Petrelius. Coming back to the start point before 17.00. Transfer to Monchegorsk and check-in at a hotel. Dinner on your own in a recommended restaurant.
Distance: 40 km.

Day 3: At 09.30 a guide comes to pick you up from a hotel and bring to the office for changing clothes. We start snowmobiling from a garage close to the Moncha Tundra. After a brief introduction and instruction how to drive a snowmobile we will drive first on a lake to the west, where our track starts. The trip goes via river shore, over small lakes and through the hilly area named Volzhe Tundra Wolf’s Tundra). Wilderness lunch at a campfire. After the circle of 60 km we will come back to the start point. Changing clothes. Leaving for Murmansk. Check-in at a hotel upon arrival.
Distance: 50 km.

Day 4: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.


Notes. The tour program can be changed depend on the weather condition.

• 1 night in a standard double room in a standard class hotel in Monchegorsk incl. breakfast

Level:

Experience in driving snowmobile is not necessary.

Recommended private equipment:

• Thermo underwear, 2 pair of warm socks, sweater clothing neck, sun glasses.

Documents:

• Passport must be valid at least 6 months after date of return. A visa is required. We handle the tourist invitation.

Insurance:

• The participant must possess medical insurance that at very least covers the European part of the Russian Federation.
