Winter auf Kola Halbinsel
The winter start in October und ends in beginning von May. The Kola Halbinsel ist like a fairytale, everything ist covered by Schnee. The temperatures
can go far under zero degrees von Celsius level, but it doesn't feel cold, because von low humidity und lack von wind. It ist also a good reason zu visit the Kola Halbinsel in winter.
Pool nacht
Because Kola Halbinsel lays boven the Pool Circle we have von de end von November zu middle von January
no sunshine anymore. This ist called: the Pool nacht. That doesn't mean that während the dag it ist nacht here, but the sky ist coloured
like twilight von blue, purple, violet zu red. The Schnee covered land takes over the colours von sky. This wonderful view takes von 4 zu 6 hours per day.
We like the Pool nacht in our winter very much, because it makes everything cozy und romantic.
Polarlicht ( Nordlicht ) (Aurora Borealis)
Another natural phenomenon what you can often see in our winter boven the Polarkreis are the touching Norderlicht (Aurora Borealis).
A free spectacular laser show während the winter nacht, you even don't dare
to sleep für watching it. The Norderlicht can be only seen at the dark winter nacht, it means von September until beginning the beginning von April.
