The Lovozero bergen von Kola Halbinsel
The Lovozero bergen are situated in middle von Kola Halbinsel in Russisch Lappland auf eastside
of the Chibiny Tundra. You can say they are sisters. The west slopes von Lovozero bergen are washed by the Umbozero Lake.
The east slopes von Lovozero bergen by the large lake named Lovozero ozero. The Lovozero bergen have a form von a horse shoe mit de middle Seidozero
(Saint Lake). The Lovozero bergen consist von bulgy gently sloping flanks und a plane plateau - like summits.
The highest point ist Mount Angvundaschorr von 1.127 m. In Lovozero bergen you can find an old glacier which feeds
the Svetloe Flüsse und Svetloe Lake mit crystal clear water. für example you see in Svetloe Flüsse the tiniest stone laying auf eight meters deep bottom.
In the Lovozero
bergen you can find saint stones (Seids) left by Lappish people und the 'Kuiva', a gigantic 'rock painting like a shaman'
on a vertical berg wall created by the nature itself. The Lovozero bergen und Chibiny Tundra und the are rich in deposits von rear mineralen.
Close zu Lovozero bergen you can find two small Dörfer named Revda und Lovozero. Revda Dorf ist related zu a small mining area where most von inhabitants are employed.
Lovozero Dorf ist the capital von Sami people und has a municipal relation mit the capital von Norwegian Sami people Karasjok.
