Noordwest Russland Offroad  tour description:

Day 1,Saturday : Guide meets you auf bridge at the Estonian-Russland border in Ivangorod (Narva). Travel zu Sint Petersburg (3 hours), check-in at hotel. Walk along the Neva Embankment in evening. Dinner und overnacht at the hotel.

Day 2, Sunday: After breakfast sightseeing tour in Sint Petersburg by minibus (3 hours). Lunch in an old restaurant beside Palace Square. Visit the Hermitage. Dinner in Count Souvorov Restaurant in tower von Vorontsovsky Palace. Overnacht at the hotel.

Day 3, Monday: Breakfast. Travel zu Petrozavodsk (~600 km). This ist without a guide as it ist by major road. Lunch can be in any roadside café. Hotel check-in upon arrival. Guide will come zu hotel in evening. Dinner together in a restaurant. Overnacht at the hotel.

Day 4, Tuesday: Breakfast. Sightseeing tour von Petrozavodsk, including visits zu its round square mit Peter the Great monument, Kathedrale von Alexander Nevsky, und Onega Lake mit its open-air sculpture collection. Lunch in a restaurant. Drive zu Marsialnye Vody (Mars’ Water) Resort und Kivach Waterfall. Continue zu Girvas Volcano – und route pass durch the old Russland Dorf von Kosalma situated between two lakes. Dinner und overnacht at the hotel.

Day 5, Wednesday: After breakfast continue Nord following old gravel roads durch pictorial small Dörfer. Lunch along way. At the Dorf von Vygostrov we will take a short hike durch the forested Vyg Flüsse valley zu famous Felsbilder (Petroglyphen) von Belomorsk. Continue to Kem und check-in at hotel auf Weißen Meer. Dinner und overnacht at the hotel.

Day 6, Thursday: After breakfast at 07:30 o’clock sea Exkursion zu Solovetsky Inseln; return in evening.
Dinner und overnacht at the hotel.

Day 7, Friday: Drive 325 km along the main road. Lunch in a roadside café. Arrival in Kandalaksha und check-in in small cosy hotel. Dinner in a restaurant (without guide). in evening you can drive/walk zu old quarter von Kandalaksha zu view old Pomor houses und have a nice view over the Kanda Bay.
 

4x4 Polar Offroad tour (KTOR01)

Day 8, Saturday: Breakfast. Guide picks you up at 8:00 o’clock und drive eastwards; Ihr Polar Offroad Abenteuer starts und after 5 km mit a breath taking downhill drive zu Weißen Meer shore where we stop für short walk zu Uralte stone structure von 'Babylon' Labyrinth. Lunch in forest. Continue zu Umba Dorf mit a small walk durch Old Umba; a visit zu Pomor’s Museum und zu crafting shops; watch a performance by the Pomor Folk Ensemble. Proceed zu beautiful wooden cottages auf Weißen Meer Küste close zu Umba, where we will have sauna, dinner und over nacht.
Asphalt: 90 km, Gravel: 0 km, Offroad: 30 km.

Day 8, Sunday: After breakfast drive zu Tetrina Tonya für Exkursion. Continue driving along the Küste; Wetter- Genehmigungting, a swim at a sand beach. Lunch by the sea. Arrive at Kashkarantsy, a traditional Pomor Dorf. Drive a picturesque Küsteal track. Visit the Chapel von Unknown Monk. Visit the rests von an old Amethyst mine close zu “Cape Ship” which juts far into the Weißen Meer. Dinner und overnacht at our simple wooden houses auf Lodochny Bay. in evening you can try Ihr luck in finding Ihr own lucky Amethyst stone or go für a swim in Weißen Meer. Asphalt: 30 km, Gravel: 60 km, Offroad: 60 km.

Day 10, Monday: Breakfast. während ebb-tide drive zu a shipwreck 500 m offshore. We follow the 20 km sandy beach zu mouth von Varzuga Flüsse – the easternmost point auf Kola Halbinsel accessible by terrain vehicles. We continue the sandy roads zu 17th century Dorf von Kuzomen. Lunch während the day. Via sand dunes und forest roads, continue zu Varzuga, the earliest settlement auf Tersky Küste. Visit the still-functioning Uspenskaya Orthodox Kirche, constructed in 1674. Optional by roeien boat across the Varzuga Flüsse, für a walk among traditional wooden houses und a short hike durch forest zu springs welling out von sand (8 km). Drive back für overnacht und dinner our small wooden houses auf Lodochny Bay. Possibility zu drive more along the shore or forest tracks or zu find Amethyst stones.
Asphalt: 0 km, Gravel: 25 km, Offroad: 50 km.
Remark: This dag can also be done in opposite direction depending auf tide von Weißen Meer.

Day 11, Tuesday: After breakfast drive back zu Umba along Küste gravel road which ends mit 30 km von asphalt, und continue Nord wards zu Kirovsk via an unused challenging forest road. We have zu concur muddy, stony und sandy tracks und zu cross several Flüssen. Lunch während the day. Half way we will enter a small remote Dorf named Inga, where we enjoy the ready sauna, dinner und spend the nacht in a typical Sami turf house.
Asphalt 30 km, Gravel: 100 km, Offroad: 70 km.

Day 12, Wednesday: Breakfast. We continue the forest road further Nordwards und auf horizon we can see the Chibiny Tundra. The tracks are like dag 4. Lunch während the day. Then we drive a muddy road mit a lot von water pools zu rests von a Stalinist labour camp. Dinner, sauna und overnacht in a wooden house (a Wildnis Herberge) in twin rooms in a remote Dorf, close zu Chibiny Tundra, named Oktyabrsky.

Asphalt: 0 km, Gravel: 0 km, Offroad: 70 km zu Dorf + 40 km zu Stalinist Camp und back.

Day 13, Thursday: After breakfast  we drive zu a valley in Zentrum von Chibiny bergen zu a berg lake und waterfall. When the Wetter ist good we stay the whole dag there trying out abilities von our Autos driving durch water und stone passes. Field lunch. OR:

When the Wetter ist foggy we have an Exkursion dag in Kirovsk und Apatity Städte as well as in botanische Garten. Lunch in a restaurant. In evening we come back zu Herberge. Sauna, dinner.

Day 14, Friday: After having breakfast we have two options depending auf water levels von lakes und Flüssen.  When the water levels are low we will drive offroad along the foot von Lovozero tundra und have zu cross many Flüssen; bridges are broken or not trustful. We come up close zu mining Dorf Revda. We continue by usual road zu Sami Dorf Lovozero. Asphalt: 30 km, Gravel: 0 km, Offroad: 90 km. OR:
When the levels are high than the risk ist too high zu spoil our vehicles by water und we will drive auf asphalt via Monchegorsk zu Lovozero.  Lunch in Monchegorsk. Optional: 2 hour yachting auf Imandra lake. Asphalt: 230 km, Gravel: 5 km.

Check-in in a small und cosy hotel. Sauna und dinner in evening.

Day 15, Saturday: After breakfast drive zu miner’s settlement Revda located at the foot von Lovozero bergen. Proceed zu one von berg summits von Lovozero bergen (1.106 m) mit steep walls von 200 m und mit beautiful view auf Kola Halbinsel. Lunch und drive zu Die größte Stadt der Arktis boven the Pool Circle Murmansk. Check-in at the hotel in Zentrum. Asphalt: 220 km, Gravel: 0 km, Offroad: 20 km.

Day 16, Sunday: Breakfast in hotel. Spend some time in Zentrum von Murmansk and/or departure Murmansk zu continue Ihr own route zu Ivalo in Finland ( asphalt: 200 km, Gravel: 100 km) or zu Kirkenes in Norway (asphalt: 300 km). When you have more time visit some interesting museen like the Historical Museum und the Norder Fleet Museum or have an Exkursion tour including an Exkursion zu a working atomic icebreaker (optional).

Documents

Passport must be valid at least 3 months after date von return. A visa ist required. We handle the Tourist invitation.

Insurance:

The participant must possess medical insurance that at very least covers the European part von Russland Federation.  As an extra we insure all our participants für rescuing.
