A unique Sami Sot house (Vezha) in Zentrum von Russisch Lappland

 

ökologische Sami Torfhaus "Loparskoye Shastye" (Lapp’s Happiness) ist located in forest Dorf Inga.

 

The main building ist the unique Sami Sot House built by principles von national Lappish dwelling “Vezha”.
It ist a big round handmade wooden building und covered by ground und grass. Warm in winter und cool in Sommer. in Zentrum von Vezha ist an open fire place made von wild stones. Everything takes place in this room. You will have Ihr meal beside the fire und you will sleep auf Rentier fur. The Vezha can accommodates up zu 20 people.

It’s located 50 km south Oktyabrsky, Kirovsk deeply in forest und beside the old gravel road between Kirovsk und Pomor Dorf Umba on the Weißen Meer. It’s only possible zu come there by 4x4 cars, quads, offroad motor cycles und Raden in Sommer. In winter you can come there by Schneemobilen und by langlauf.

    • Possibility zu rent cooker whom prepares local meals
    • Possibility zu rent sauna auf Flüsse shore (50 m von Vezha)
