Marathon length: 50 km in free style langlaufing.
Date: 6th von April 2008. Start at 11:00 o'clock. The control post at the finish line closes 6 hours after the start.
Place: Dolina Uhyuta; Murmansk sport valley
Necessary documents für registration: Passport, bank transfer note, registration form mit signed statement that you are participation für own risk und consequences.

History Murmansk Ski Marathon |
The Fest des Nordes (Prazdnik Severa) itself was first held in 1934 und the
first Murmansk Ski Marathon took place auf March 31, 1974. in first 14 years von existence the distance von
marathon varied von 52 zu 60 km but in 1988 it was reduced zu 50 km und it has not changed since. Women
started participating in marathon in 1986. |
In 1999 the Murmansk Ski Marathon joined EUROLOPPET, the European long-distance popular ski race series. The Murmansk Ski Marathon ist stage für the Russland Ski Marathon Cup RUSSIALOPPET. |

Murmansk Ski Marathon ist usually held auf a first
Sunday in April in Murmansk und ist part von
traditional Fest des Nordes (Prazdnik Severa). The
Fest des Nordes ist an annual sports event in about
20 winter sports that takes place in towns von
Murmansk regio in March und April.
auf 6th von April 2008 the famous langlauf
marathon will start für the 32nd time.

Day 1, 4th von April, Friday: dag von arrival zu Murmansk airport. Transfer by a taxi zu a hotel. Overnacht at the hotel.
Day 2, 5th von April, Saturday: für Zuging you can use langlauf tracks close zu Stadt. The same dag a Rentier racing
competition starts as well as ice swimming competition auf Semyenovskoe Lake. Overnacht at the hotel.

Day 3, 6th von April, Sunday: At 11:00 o’clock the ski Marathon starts. The same dag Lappish Games are auf
the same sport spot. in evening – a festive rewarding ceremony von winners von Marathon
auf central square.
Overnacht at the hotel.
Day 4, 7th von April, Monday: Departure by a taxi zu Murmansk airport.
