Yasushi Tanikado was born in 1973 in Osaka Japan and based in Whitehorse Yukon Canada now.
He has spent his time with Northern lights in Yukon for more than nine years. His photographs are recognized throughout the world for their mastery of
colour, composition, and perspective. His vision and passionate Northern lights Landscape advocacy affirm his dedication to his work.
His unique approach to Nature photography is based on his training in the arts and his love of the environment. Yasushi`s travel schedule soon had him on the road more than at home.
He spends nearly 20days of the month travelling.
In Autumn of 2010 we welcomed Yasushi on the Kola Peninsula. He guided a Japanese group through Northwest Russia and North Finland. He touched his
group in photographing the golden colours of the Northern Autumn and Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). The group members were very enthusiastic and jolly.
